Jeff has over 28 years of investment experience in institutional fixed-income management, capital markets, private client management and Trust investment management. Jeff's believes his ability to connect with people and establish trusted relationships serves as a foundation of what it means to be a true fiduciary when serving in the best interest of the client.
Recently, Jeff was the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Salem Five Bank. He created the trust and wealth management department at Salem Five, which established full trust powers and wealth management capabilities designed to serve the needs of the bank’s retail and commercial clients, as well as the high net worth and non-profit segments. Prior to Salem Five, he was the Chief Investment Officer at Enterprise Bank and Trust and was responsible for driving the overall investment process and asset allocation strategy on more than $600 million in assets under management. He also held positions as portfolio manager at Sovereign Bank, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. In addition, he worked on the Institutional side at Fidelity Capital Markets and was a Fixed Income manager for a New York City Pension fund, responsible for managing over $500 million in bonds.
Jeff strongly believes in building relationships through consistent communication. Moreover, he works to communicate complex investment themes in an understandable way to investors with varying levels of financial sophistication. Over the years, he has worked with hundreds of clients, analyzing their financial condition while assisting them in developing strategic plans in synch with their long-term investment objectives.
Jeff earned an MBA in Finance from Bentley University and graduated with Distinction, as well as being accepted into the PHI Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars. He also holds a BS from Fairfield University and is a CFA level II candidate.
